About the Instructor :
Doug Chan , Director and Co-founder at Maker Cube
Doug is an accomplished engineer and serial entrepreneur, with an enthusiasm for technology and rapid prototyping. Previously working in several start-ups, he has delved into many fields of fabrication both traditional and modern. Doug has more than a decade of experience in 3D modelling and computer aided design (CAD) for both work and play. He started modelling with Blender3D during a highschool summer camp to make his own 3D games and quickly became enamored with it. By senior year he was teaching his own class of his peers how to make models, animations and games. Picking up several more CAD programs in university, Doug has expanded his repertoir to be able to quickly design models for real world applications and fabrication processes.
