  • Revision on 1.3.1: “No person may operate any tools/equipment on the premises while impaired from substance use that can cause physical and behavioural changes that affect a person’s ability to work safely. Substances can include but are not limited to:
    • Alcohol or legal drugs (which includes cannabis as of October 17, 2018)
    • Illegal drugs
    • Prescription drugs to treat medical conditions
    • Over-the-counter medications”

  • Removal of 8.5.13: “No person shall use earphones that prevent them from hearing noise in the wood shop. “ – is a duplicate of 2.2.5 “Do not use any form of hearing protection, headphones, or earbuds that would prevent you from being able to hear the sound of the machine you are operating. Everyone must be able to hear whether a tool is working correctly and if other users of the shop require their attention.”
  • Addition of 8.8.3: “The maximum cumulative cut time usage for CNC machines (laser cutter, CNC table, and plasma CNC) for every member is 2 hours per month. Additional CNC cut time will be billed as per the current rates posted.”
